Sinopsis
Yamada-kun to Lv999 no Koi wo Suru Akane Kinoshita, una estudiante universitaria, se enfrenta a la peor de las situaciones cuando acaba rompiendo con su novio después de que este tenga una aventura con una mujer que conoció jugando a un juego online. Mientras alivia su estrés arrasando los cotos de caza abiertos de un juego online, Akane le cuenta todo a "Yamada", un jugador que conoció por casualidad y que pertenece al mismo gremio. "No me importa", es su cortante respuesta. Pero cuando Akane se hace un cambio de imagen y se une a un evento offline para vengarse de su exnovio, vuelve a oír esas terribles palabras. ¡Y ese fue el inesperado encuentro de Akane con "Yamada"！
